Vice President
Mia Rosenthal
Born and raised in the Sarasota/Lakewood Ranch area, Mia Rosenthal has a strong interest in Psychology and experience with mental health challenges associated with teens. She feels connected to the Data Coordinator role in that it is similar to testing and capturing theories in psychology, but through the lens of Youth Move Suncoast, capturing the message and impact that the program has on the community. With a personal mental health journey, Mia hopes to inspire and help others with similar struggles through the knowledge she has attained and the lessons she has learned. Mia is a junior in high school at the Out-of-Door Academy. After being a member of the Social Awareness Club, she started a well-being and mindfulness-focused program called Peace of Mind Club, which she now passionately runs. A lover of music, arts, and language, Mia is a common concert-goer and artist who loves learning Latin and French, hoping to apply those languages on her upcoming summer trip to Europe. Mia has a love for deep communication and connection. She firmly believes in the “work-hard, play-hard” mentality and puts important value on her emotional quotient, tending to be empathetic and considerate that you never know what someone has going on in their life, so just be kind! She tries her best to empower people around her to be the reason others believe there are good people in the world.

It is this passion, and wanting to help others that have experienced similar struggles, that brought her to Youth MOVE and to NAMI.
